Remote interpretation of aerial photographs. Archaeological investigations. Analysis of medieval finds.

Participation in gathering data from non-destructive investigative methods that include field survey and reconnaissance of the area along the Drava River, along with analysis of the aerial photographs of a chosen area and their further interpretation in the context of metallurgical activity. Participation in targeted archaeological excavations on chosen micro-sites in order to establish the relations between the workshop and the settlement. After excavation – the analysis, interpretation, and publication of archaeological finds from medieval archaeological assemblages. Defining the impact and distribution of goods, as well as semi-finished and finished products, in the context of a narrower, regional and wider, Central European context in the Middle Ages. Co-organization of a scientific conference. Time dedicated to the project: 30% working time.
