Field survey. Analysis of the archaeological finds from Late Antiquity and Early Middle Ages.
Field survey and reconnaissance of the area along the Drava River. Participation in archaeological excavations. After excavation - analysis, interpretation, and publication of archaeological finds from Late Antique and early medieval archaeological assemblages. As it is expected that the greatest quantity of finds will be from this period, the analysis will require a significant amount of working time on the project, so the plan is to hire a research assistant, a future doctoral student with a dissertation subject related to the period and area under investigation. Time dedicated to the project: 100%.
