Analysis of iron ore samples
During the 2nd project year, detailed geoanalyses of collected soil samples and pieces of iron ore from the archaeological context from the Virje and Hlebine sites were performed (pdf).
During the 3rd project year, detailed geoanalyses of collected soil samples, raw and roasted iron ore and bloomery smelting slag from archaeological contexts from Virje and Hlebine sites were performed. (pdf).
During the 4th project year, detailed analyses of collected soil samples, raw and roasted iron ore and smelting slag from the archaeological context of Virje, Hlebine and Kalinovac – Hrastova greda sites were performed (pdf).
