At the beginning of 2018, aero-photogrammetric images obtained by digital photogrammetric camera (infrared recording DGU) were inspected to identify possible remains and structures of potential archaeological sites associated with smelting activity. The analysis of the images was focused on the selected area, determined on the basis of previously conducted field surveys, during which thirty potential archaeological sites were recorded (Tatjana Tkalčec, B. Šiljeg).
1st June – 15th November 2017
During the summer and fall of 2017 satellite and aerial photographs from multiple sources (ARKOD, Geoportal, Google Earth) were inspected. The analysis of the aerial photographs was directed to the selected area around Vlaislav, Plavšinac, Srdinac and Delovi (Tatjana Tkalčec, B. Šiljeg). Based on the conducted analysis, nine potential archeological sites were selected for field survey (Tatjana Tkalčec, Siniša Krznar,Ivan Valent, Tajana Sekelj Ivančan). Surface finds from Prehistory to New Age have been collected.
